µPlasmaPrint is an enabler for subsequent processing:

  • local and patterned modification of wettability or improvement of adhesion to improve digital inkjet, liquid dispensing results.
  • spatial contrast in surface wettability to enable patterned wet coating application by slot die or similar uniform wet coating techniques
  • spatially /area selective wet and gas phase chemistry through contrast is surface chemical groups

The combined process of surface modification and subsequent processing techniques result in solutions for a wide variety of applications in among others biomedical sensors, microfluidics, printed electronics and (backend) semicon.
